My Best Friend's Wedding!

I am horrible at blogging but Megan (my PIC) called me out on it so I'm going to make this post alllll about her and her new hubby!

October 1, 2011, Megan Robideau became the new Megan O'Dell!! Woo-hoo! I couldn't wait for the big day and I must say, it was pretty perfect! Megan and Kevin are a beautiful pair but nothing could compare with how they looked on their wedding day!

We started out the wedding weekend with getting our nails done on Friday and then the rehearsal and dinner at Barcelona.
some of the bridesmaids with the bride-to-be! LOVE these ladies
The bride and groom-to-be!

Next up: The big day! We started out the morning pretty early. Hair, make-up, steaming the dresses, etc. there was quite a bit to do before Megan was ready (physically ready, she was mentally ready for years ;) )!
Pre-hair and make-up!

Megan's sis and MOH did our make-up. She has the most amazing make-up collection and did a fab job!

Before the DRESS! I wish I could have gotten a pic of the back of Megan's hair. It was amazing!
The b-maids with the bride before heading to the church!

and there's the bride! all ready to go :)

The Ceremony: The ceremony was really nice! I am not Catholic so some of the traditions were very new to me but the Priest was really great and everything went perfect!

Megan was absolutely radiant walking down the aisle.

I really liked how Megan and Kevin said their vows and exchanged rings facing everyone. It was a great way for all of their friends and family to see their love and expressions while making the most important promise of their lives.

MR and MRS KEVIN O'DELL!

The Reception! The reception was beautiful. The centerpieces were amazing and the cake was absolutely gorgeous! Not to mention, there was a photobooth for all guests to enjoy :)

Two of the centerpieces and the cake!

Some photobooth fun!
Megan and Kevin had some choreograph their first dance and it was awesome!

The Bride and me! Dragon and NightHawk :)

Me and the hubby were honored to be apart of their big day!

It was quite the party that night! The room with filled with love and laughs!
Even the pups were pooped after the wedding weekend!

There you have it! My best friend is off the market and is now a married woman! This is just a small look into the wonderful weekend that went too fast! I wish nothing but the best for the newlyweds and I can't wait to see their life together continue to grow and strengthen.

Happy Friday! I haven't posted in a while since the past few weeks have been CRAZY!
Today marks one week since my newest nephew, Quinn Jo Zimmerman, was born. Just like the rest of the family, I already love him SO MUCH! He is such a sweet baby for a wonderful family.

Unfortunately, Quinn's dad, Mitch, left on Wednesday to start his deployment to Afghanistan. Mitch is in Mississippi doing his basic training and will leave in early January for Afghanistan. Heather, the loving wife and mother, is home taking care of four perfect boys, Lance, Wyatt, Kade and Quinn. My goal this next year is to visit and help Heather out as much as I can. Take a look at this beautiful family!

The newest Zimmerman, Quinn :)
Kade saying hello to his new baby brother! I love this pic!
Kade giving his momma some lovin'!
The Zimmerman boys! Wyatt holding Quinn and Lance holding Kade. Aren't they handsome!?
and my favorite picture of all! Heather had Quinn's newborn pics taken right before Mitch left and the photographer snapped this amazing and heartfelt picture. I love it so much.

This is one amazing and strong family. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers during this tough time. We love you guys!

Have a great Friday and cherish each and every person around you!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving...

that Buckeye football starts this Saturday! I am still super bummed and salty at the fact that my main man, Coach Jim Tressel, will not be on the sidelines but I am really looking forward to watching Luke Fickell win some games for our team! This is the first season I will be able to tailgate and enjoy watching the games but I will miss standing on the sidelines and being right next to the action! Go Bucks!!

I'm loving...

that life is starting to slow down a bit. For the past 6 months I have had something every. single. weekend. It has all been wonderful things filling up my time, like getting married, honeymooning, friend's weddings, ect. but I am ready for a weekend of nothing. That weekend won't come until mid-September but I am oh-so-ready for it!

I'm loving...

that I get to go back home for the weekend! My home is definitely here in Columbus but there is something about going back to my parent's house and enjoying some family time. And it doesn't hurt that the Canfield Fair is this weekend! It is definitely the biggest event in our town and I can't wait. I have never missed going to the fair and whether the hubby likes it or not, I will never miss it unless I am forced not to go. I'm ready for some fatty, greasy, delicious fair food mixed in with awkward run-ins with people from high school. Sounds like a good weekend to me!

Canfield Fair 2011 - August 31st through Labor Day

and finally...
I'm loving...

that we could hear the Incubus concert from out back porch last night! We couldn't really make out what the words to the songs were but we could hear the music which was really cool! It made me love living downtown even more!

Happy Hump Day everyone!

Tail Wagging Tuesday

DISCLAIMER: Hello, my name is Danielle and I am obsessed with my dog.

Now that we got that out of the way, I am following my best buddy Megan at It's Good To Be Queen and dedicating this post to my tail-wagging baby, Miss Hannah Banana Wagner. This week, I will share some of her funniest pictures that I love. Hannah has quite the personality so she takes some pretty cute and funny pictures! Take a look :)

This is Hannah in all of her begging glory. Hannah LOVES food and will give you the biggest puppy dog eyes to get what she wants. I caught her with her head ON the table begging for food. This was the look I got when I interrupted her. Total diva.

Like I said, Hannah has a lot of sass in her. She is totally mean mugging.
Miss Nanner jumped in the front seat during a card ride and I snapped this priceless picture of her. Don't worry folks, she has her puppy permit ;)
Hannah is really good with tricks and even does them without being asked. I like to think of those as times when she is really craving a treat. She gives high fives and dies, sometimes in a very dramatic way, when we go "bang-bang".

And finally, this is our little family. She is making the funniest face I have ever seen a dog make. All smiles for this little family :)

Music Monday

Since I am new to blogging, I've decided to start a new little thing where I share some of my favorite songs/artists each Monday. Music puts me in a good mood and since Monday's always seem to come too fast, music is something that can get me motivated and get my butt moving at work.

I can usually tell what kind of day it is going to be by what songs are played on the radio on my 15-20 minute drive to work. Today I heard some great music which made the morning drive to work a little more enjoyable. Here are a few of my favorites :)

Amos Lee - I have loved almost every song I have heard from Amos Lee. This song is called "Flower" and is beautiful. If you are interested in hearing more from Amos, listen to "Windows are Rolled Down" and "Arms of a Woman"

Sufjan Stevens - This song, "The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades Is Out", is my new obsession of the moment. I have heard Sufjan Stevens before but the hubby just introduced me to this song and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Take a listen and I'm sure it will put you in a light-hearted good mood. More songs to check out for Sufjan: "Chicago" and "The One I Love".

The Beatles - The Beatles are one of my favorite groups ever. No matter what mood I'm in, this song, "Here Comes the Sun", will always put a smile on my face. And it doesn't hurt that the hubs and I walked hand in hand for the first time as husband and wife to this song after the ceremony :). Safe to say, this is my all-time favorite song.

I hope these songs/videos make your Monday a little bit more bearable.
